2010 iAward

iCare was successful in winning the 2010 Victorian iAward in the eHealth category for our creation of the aged care electronic health record.

The iAwards is Australia’s premier technology innovation awards program and recognises innovation excellence in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) across a range of important fields and industries. For 16 years the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) has hosted the iAwards. The AIIA is Australia’s peak association for the ICT industry and is the trusted source of information, advice and expertise for all stakeholders involved in ICT.

The eHealth iAward is presented to the most innovative ICT solution for the healthcare sector. iCare’s creation of the aged care electronic health record incorporates care and nursing staff content, complimented with pharmacy content for medication management and GP content for resident care. This enables nursing and care staff to view internal and external health information within one single application with the unique outcome of the first electronic health record in aged care.
